Update from Prison

There will be a new video update this Saturday.

He really didn’t want to do the update, but I told he that he had to do it this time.

His argument was that he started this project to show what its like to be imprisoned at Facility 5 and right now he is in a position that is not what he wanted, until he gets into a regular cell.

All he has right now is negative reports and feels that it wont help in the long run. He had a really bad week and I will let him tell you about it.

They put him in the dungeon for 3 days and he might have to go back tonight after our call. He told me some of the things that has been done to him in there, but he doesn’t want me to post it.

But I can say, it is pretty extreme. They put him in there for fighting after they had him cramped in a punishment cell with 2 other prisoners for 3 days.

All 3 of them were taken to the dungeon… I guess that’s one way of reducing the crowding problem in the punishment cells, just force prisoners into a closet sized cell until they fight, then throw them in the dungeon to be tortured…

We talked about the dungeon option for punishment before he was imprisoned, but he felt that as long as he didn’t violate the rules, then he wouldn’t have to worry about it… But since he lives in the punishment cells, the only punishment in there is the dungeon.

I just hope they don’t put him back in there after our call…

I sent my request for parole to our staff girl in the prison, she didn’t sound very optimistic about it, but she said she would put it in as a petition to the prison board, only they can grant parole and it has to be a unanimous vote, requiring all board members, which only meet once a month.

So it may be a while before I get an answer back.

It sucks that I have the power to have him imprisoned, but no power to release him. If they deny him parole, then all I can do is petition again with a new argument and wait for their decision.

I guess I have no other choice, but to wait now… But after talking to him tonight, I want him out more than ever.

No video update this week

I am sorry for the late update to the blog, I have been trying to decide what I can say and what I cant.

I spoke to Six and he hasn’t been cleared to give an update on his current situation in the prison. I asked if he wanted to just update on the transport to the prison, since that was outside of Facility 5.

He just wanted to tell me everything without having to hold back information while being recorded for the update, so we decided not to record an update on this call.

You have to understand, we haven’t really spoken in almost a month and he just wanted to talk to his girlfriend and tell me everything he had endured so far.

I got a crash course in what its like for him now and while its mostly what we expected, it still makes me sad.

The trip to the prison was a nightmare and he was punished with a taser to the arches of his feet once for asking for James to loosen his restraints because his wrists were swollen and then 3 more times for having the phone.

He says that every muscle in his feet and legs were in cramps for hours afterwards.

The transport restraints were never removed for the entire 14 days and he spent 16 hours a day laying on the floor of the motel room with his feet locked in metal stocks that were chained to the bed frame at the foot of James’ bed.

He said that while being transported with the other prisoner, James used a different pair of ankle stocks that secured their ankles interlaced tightly together as they sat opposite each other.

He said that the other prisoner was transported barefoot as well, but wasn’t being transported to Facility 5, but was being taken from one jail to another jail.

He said that the holding cells were very claustrophobic, but the front of the cells were plexiglass, so he could see the other prisoners across the hall, even though they were not allowed to talk to each other.

He said that the transport from the holding cells at the administration building to the prison to be processed was the worst experience he has ever had, because they were cramped so tight in a cage in the back of a van for almost 9 hours.

It sounded like a nightmare, there was more about the transport between holding and processing, but I will let him fill in the blanks in a video update when he is given permission.

He said that once he arrived in processing, they stripped them naked, by cutting their t-shirts and jeans off, one of the female prisoners was flagged for punishment for having underwear.

He also said that after processing, he was taken to a shower cell, where he was locked in a cage, the punishment restraints left on and he was given 5 minutes of water, the first 2 minutes were freezing cold.

He had to squat down, because his hands are chained to his feet and it was the only way he could wash his hair.

After the shower, he was taken through the dungeon, a tour that is designed to scare prisoners into obeying and following rules. Its where they take prisoners who violate rules while in the punishment cells.

So far he has not been given the usual paper uniform that prisoners wear in the punishment cells, so he has been naked, wearing only the heavy permanent shackles and punishment restraints.

He says, that this is normal for new prisoners to remain naked for the first week, in order to degrade and force prisoners into their roles. Besides guards had unshackling prisoners wrists, which is required before putting on the paper uniforms.

He doesn’t like it, but he says that because he is in his cell 24 hours a day and the only people who ever see him like that are the guards he interacts with and the staff who can watch him on the camera in his cell.

It was worse being naked during processing, because there were so many staff members and the other 9 prisoners present. He feels more secure being naked in his cell, but the transport from his cell to the holding cell for the call was very uncomfortable for him, even though he has not seen any other prisoners since processing.

He says the permanent shackles they have him in are twice as heavy as the ones he is used to, they are about 2 inches wide and have a longer chain with a tether ring in the center of the chain.

He says that the tether ring has been used every time they remove him from the cell, to secure him to a floor bolt. He was chained to one of these floor bolts during our call, while he sat on a metal stool in a holding cell.

They gave him very thin rolled ankle pads to keep the weight off his ankles while is feet are flat on the floor, and he says that they are very effective. While the shackles are very wide and smother his ankles, he believes that they will be more comfortable when laying down.

If you followed his vlog, you will probably remember that laying in the previous shackles were the primary cause for soreness and the need for thick ankle pads were the cause of swelling. He thinks that the ones they have on him now are better suited for permanent use.

He said that they are bolted, but they used superglue when putting them in, then they drilled out the top of the bolt and filled the hole with solder. He was told that the shackles would have to be cut off when he is released.

He is a little concerned about that, because they are oval in shape and they fit snug around his ankles. He likes that they are wider in the area’s that matter, because they dont press into his ankles when he walks, like the other ones.

He likes the longer chain, but he has to be extra careful not to strip over it, because its long enough that it can get caught between his toes if he isnt careful. He says the chains are very heavy.

The punishment restraints have shackles similar to the ones he wore at home, with wrist shackles that match and they are bolted on.

He says its nearly impossible to sleep in the punishment cells. He has to sit at the back of the cell with his knees to his chest and the soles of his feet flat on the floor all day. This is something we expected, based on what his contact in the prison told him.

He says that the air in the cell gets warmer after he has been in there for several hours, but the floor remains cold and damp. The cell they had him in, was filthy as well.

I didn’t tell him about the over crowding or the possibility that he will be in the punishment cells for up to 6 months, I didn’t want to make him worry.

I have been looking for his contract, specifically on the topic of parole. They do give prisoners the option of parole for very specific reasons, such as medical reasons, they have to get special medical attention that cant be provided by the prison medical staff.

Also for family emergencies. I think I might be able to argue for parole, based on the over crowding of the punishment cells and the expected 6 months of standby.

He is still technically a voluntary prisoner, even though he is classified as involuntary now, he didn’t sign up as involuntary, so he isn’t contractually required to serve time on standby.

If they will grant him parole, he would be able to come home and return when a cell comes available. Of course I wouldn’t do this unless he can hold his place in line. I know he still very much wants to be imprisoned at Facility 5, in a regular cell and if parole will delay his entry into that cell, then he will have to stay.

I am going to be writing up my proposal to Facility 5 today and submitting it to my staff contact in the prison, she seems really nice and has worked well with me in the past.

I will let you know how that works out.

Good News

I am on my lunch, while at work right now, but I am very excited, so I decided to update you now and post this cute picture of his feet with stars. 🙂

I got a call this morning while at work, from Facility 5. I was worried at first, because I cant record the call while at work, however, it was just administration calling to inform me that Six had put in a request for a call to me.

She wanted to know if I would accept that call and to set a window of time to receive it.

I am very happy that they do this, because he is only allowed 1 call per week and if I missed it, then I would have to wait another week to hear from him.

So I gave her my schedule and she scheduled a 2 hour window for tomorrow night.

I asked her if we could record the call and post it, but she didn’t know and she said that he would have to make that request with administration, which I am sure he has already done.

So, I am very excited to get his call tomorrow and I will be able to record it, I just hope he has permission to update you all from prison, so I can post it to the youtube. If he can update, that video will be posted on Saturday.

Moved to Prison

I got an email from our staff contact, she says that they moved all the prisoners from holding to the prison early this morning.

He will be processed and be put in a punishment cell later today.

Now I just have to wait for his first call. 🙂

Voluntary vs Involuntary Imprisonment.

First of all, I found this image in the database and I really like it.

Reminds me of the last fun night we had with my friends, when we foot printed him. I really miss having him on that chain.

Anyway, I kind of brushed over some things in the last post, I wanted to clarify some of it.

First, I mentioned voluntary standby imprisonment. I think Six explained this in a video or maybe even on here, but here is a refresher.

Voluntary imprisonment is how Six started out, those are prisoner who want to be imprisoned at Facility 5.

Involuntary imprisonment is when a prisoner does not want to be imprisoned, but agrees to be imprisoned by their 3rd party as punishment.

Involuntary prisoners are often informed of this decision by their 3rd party with a transport agent and notary present, so that as soon as they agree, they can sign and be arrested immediately, before being transported and imprisoned on standby.

These prisoners are often given two bad options by their 3rd party, usually a wife or husband. There is no wait list for involuntary prisoners, standby imprisonment is their wait list.

Example: A husband who has had an ongoing drinking problem where he has repeatedly physically abused his wife and children.

The wife will produce video evidence of the abuse, captured from hidden camera and she gives her husband the option of being arrested and charged with that assault and then followed up with divorce or be imprisoned at Facility 5.

So he will have the option of being imprisoned in a real prison, getting divorced and not allowed to see his kids anymore, losing everything and being required to pay alimony and child support after release from prison.

Or he can agree to be imprisoned at Facility 5 for a year. Of course Facility 5 becomes the best option, no criminal record, the wife wont divorce him. Facility 5 is safer and more comfortable after leaving standby.

They get time apart, he gets punished and when he is released, they can start fresh. So as you can imagine, this surprise intervention often results in the 1st party being arrested, transported and imprisoned on standby.

My staff contact in the prison claims that they have never had this many standby prisoners before. They made the offer of standby to all voluntary prisoners on the wait list and while some of them, like us, accepted their offer, the majority of the prisoners in standby are full involuntary.

She didn’t speculate, but I am wondering if this is a result of this blog and the youtube. Bringing Facility 5 to the light and the mention of involuntary imprisonment as a punishment, might have caused ex-prisoners to be more open about mentioning it to their friends.

I dont know, but the staff girl at the prison says that they have never had this many involuntary prisoners join in such a short period of time. They have temporarily ended signup for voluntary prisoners, because its believed that at this rate, those who are still on the wait list may not get in until next year.

This is also very bad for Six, since so many prisoners have entered the prison on standby before him, they will take the cells that come available and he may be kept in the punishment cells for much longer.

Originally my goal was that he would spend 2 or 3 months in punishment cells, expecting a cell would come available shortly. But now I am worried that its going to be much longer.

If I had imprisoned him on standby in November when we got the offer, he would probably be in a regular cell right now, but because we waited so long, a bunch of prisoners were brought in on standby before him.

I really hope he doesnt have to stay in the punishment cells for 6 months… Time on standby is not counted towards his original sentence, which has been extended with the help of the 3rd party transport rebate that I received.

He is now sentenced to 6 months, so if he is kept in the punishment cells for 6 months, that will be a total of 1 year, without any additional extensions.

I am sorry for all the lengthy updates today, all this has excited me on the topic and I thought you might be interested. Let me know if you want me to keep these updates shorter. I know some people dont like reading.

Still in holding

I spoke with our staff contact in the prison this morning, they received the contracts and he is eligible for transfer to the prison, however they need 10 prisoners in the holding cells before they will move them to the prison.

I guess they do this with involuntary prisoners, they process them in mass, so they dont have to set everything up every day.

She said that he will likely be moved tomorrow or the next day and that I should expect a call sometime around the later part of next week.

I was surprised that they are bringing in so many prisoners, being that the wait list is so long right now.

She told me that, the standby prisoners are the reason that no one on the wait list is getting in, involuntary prisoners are coming in at a higher rate and since they are immediately arrested and placed in standby and all standby prisoners get first dibs on available cells, there are no voluntary prisoners being brought in.

She said that they even stopped accepting voluntary applications and said that it was a good thing that I put him in early, because if he was still on the wait list, he probably wouldn’t have gotten a cell until next year.

She made a guess and it doesn’t sound too good. She thinks it will be at least 4 months before he gets a cell and could be as long as 6 months.

She said that because of the voluntary standby program, as well as a higher rate of involuntary prisoners during the busiest months, which is right now, has caused major over crowding issues in the punishment cells.

Being that almost all the punishment cells are occupied with standby prisoners, they are often packing regular punished prisoners in with them, sometimes as many as 2 or 3 prisoners to one punishment cell for short periods of time.

Sometimes for as long as 2 or 3 days. I cant imagine being locked in such a tiny cell with 2 other prisoners for even an hour, 2 or 3 days would be terrible.

I joked about not sending the contracts, so he would stay in holding and asked if holding was better than the punishment cells. She told me that holding cells are only 4ft by 4ft. They have a plexiglass door, a 2ft bench and a toilet/sink combo.

Even though they are really small, they are a lot warmer and more comfortable as a whole and prisoners can not be moved from holding until their 3rd party contracts are signed and returned, so I could have kept him in holding for much longer.

The holding cells were never meant to keep prisoners in for multiple days, but because of the influx, they have been waiting for 10 prisoners to arrive before transporting and processing.

He doesn’t have many options for comfort, a warm closet sized cell or a cold walk in closet sized cell, I think I would probably choose the smaller cell, I dont like the cold. My feet have been freezing since they took my slave away, with no one to massage my feet anymore. 😦

Sorry for the long update, she gave me a lot more information than usual, I think she is opening up more, now that they have him in custody or maybe they dont know that I am updating for him, hope we dont get into trouble for posting this info…

I really hope they get him processed soon and I hope he gets his call soon. Oh, she told me that I could update from his weekly calls, but we are still bound by NDA, so he will have to be careful what he says.

I dont know anything about editing, so if I am able to record the calls, it will be raw and uncut. If I do update, I will be posting those on Saturday mornings, I want them to count and Saturday is a good day for youtube posts, so I have been told.

Anyway, she told me that she would email me once he was transferred to the prison and I will update you when that happens. Thanks for sticking around for this long post. 🙂

Contracts

I received a box from Facility 5 today with the full set of contracts. They had already been signed and footprinted by Six.

Every page that he signed or initialed, has this footprint page printed on the back side and I have to sign under all his signatures and initials to authorize them, because I am his legal guardian under the power of attorney.

It took a long time to get through it all, but I thought it would be neat to post a picture of one of the back pages with his footprints on it. 🙂

Apparently they require footprints on all signature pages because of the footprint authentication stuff in the prison. I had to block out the text and signatures for obvious reasons. He foot printed like 50 pages in total.

They provided a phone number for questions about the contract and I called it to ask if he had been moved to the prison yet, the guy on the phone sounded annoyed that I was asking questions that had nothing to do with the contract, I think he was a lawyer or something.

But he did verify that Six is still in holding and would remain there until they received these contracts back with my signature. So technically if I dont mail these back, he will just stay in holding forever. I dont know if holding is better or worse than prison.

Holding

I emailed our contact in the prison, the staff girl that we have been working with. She replied this morning.

She says that he has signed and printed the contracts and is currently in holding.

She says that they keep involuntary prisoners in the holding cells at the administration building, until they have a full group, before they move them to the prison to be processed.

She says, it depends on how quickly the holding cells fill up, but involuntary prisoners can be kept in holding for weeks sometimes, so she doesn’t know when he will be moved to the prison.

Prisoners are not allowed calls while in holding. She says that he will have to be processed and will have to be in his cell for more than 72 hours before he will be eligible for phone calls.

She estimates that I will hear from him some time next week, because there are 6 prisoners in holding and they require 10 for full transport. So he will probably be in holding for less than a week, but she is only making a guess.

I am really anxious to hear from him and finding out that I might not get to talk to him until sometime next week, is really starting to upset me.

Communication with Six.

Hello everyone, I will be referring to Prisoner 830506 as Six from now on.  This is Six’s girlfriend.

I spoke with him earlier today, he sounded exhausted.  He seemed to be holding back a lot, probably in fear of getting in trouble with James.

He is very anxious to get to the prison, his ankles and wrists are in very bad condition, saying that the restraints have not been removed since the arrest.

He said that the phone was found and that he was punished, but didn’t go into detail on how he was punished.

He was being very careful in his answers, I could tell that Jame’s was there and he was doing his best not to cause trouble.  I am sure I will hear every bit of it once he is at the prison.

He did verify that they did pick up another prisoner, from a  jail.  So this is a real criminal, not another prisoner that is going to Facility 5.  I could tell that he wasn’t happy about the deviation and I dont blame him.

I reminded him that that the Facility 5 contract allows him one call per week to his 3rd party, while in the punishment cells.  That being me, I proposed that I could record his calls to me and post them to youtube as updates.

Of course this will only happen if Facility 5 allows us to update in that way.  If they allow it, then I will post those as soon as next week, once he is in the prison and is allowed that call.

I have changed his youtube channel to Facility 5.  I know he created a specific channel for Facility 5, however I just dont see any reason to have two channels.  I might use the other channel for behind the scenes or something later, so if you are subscribed there, you can keep subscribed.

I have access to all of his accounts, but I havent been reading or responding to his emails, since it just feels wrong.  I would rather let it pile up and have it there for when he is moved to the regular cell, so he can read and answer them himself.

However, I think its important for the future fund raising project, for which I am in charge of, to keep followers updated on the situation and will be using this platform as well as youtube, if we get permission to record his calls.

This is all very new to me, since he handled all this before his arrest, but I will do my best.

I just created a new account on here, GF830506, so when I post and reply, it wont be confusing, since I am not Shackled Bare Feet. 🙂
